My verses are all about you
Every word they have is nothing but true.
I don't know when and how
Your dreams planted themselves in my sleeps
C K Rawat
Daughter to that good Earl, once President
Of Englands Counsel, and her Treasury,
I had some friends, but I dreamed that they were dead,
Who used to dance with lanterns round a little boy in bed;
Green and white lanterns that waved to and fro:
But I haven't seen a Firefly since ever so long ago!
My Super Man
In the dreams I dream
Only you visible in thee
My perfect human
With a pale skin you were handsomely made
She sought to breathe one word, but vainly;
Too many listeners were nigh;
And yet my timid glance read plainly
The language of her speaking eye.
Butterflies are white and blue
In this field we wander through.
Suffer me to take your hand.
Death comes in a day or two.
Edna St. Vincent Millay
Love is not a wine
It's a fountain of joy
If your love story gives you headaches
It's not a true love but attachment
The dreams escape outdoors when your minds winddows are opened by the eclipse of the dark , dance fashioned in vivid neon rainbow colors on the white walls ,get wrinkled on the object that stand inside your bedroom but can they come true … in the present time and place ?
To Miss Vera Beringer
There was a young lady of station
“I love man” was her sole exclamation
But when men cried, “You flatter”
She replied, “Oh! no matter
A state of selflessness
The home of true love
Where compassion lives
The soul that lives for others
Sooner Than A While!
When I first saw you,
I felt like I had known you forever.
That moment still flash-by my eyes,
Reminding me of your smile ever and ever.
Let me tell you the secret hidden
How to get closer to Leila, your beloved.
I Guess It's Over
I guess they were right,
when they said the world isn't all black and white.
Nothing lasts forever,
but I thought we'd stay together
They say true love last a life time till forever
So what do you want me to do
I am always gonna cry because I miss you
Tell me how can I kill this love
Reading from my book
poetry is my boss
is how I die every night
I disappear from sight
When a man starts out with nothing,
When a man starts out with his hands
Empty, but clean,
When a man starts to build a world,
"Blessed be the English and all their ways and works.
Cursed be the Infidels, Hereticks, and Turks!"
"Amen," quo' Jobson, "but where I used to lie
Was neither Candle, Bell nor Book to curse my brethren by,
Am going to write my story in words
Been that girl who fell in love a little bit late
After walking away from the one I loved
Then did my best to try and correct my mistakes
The Norman Boy
High on a broad unfertile tract of forest-skirted Down,
Nor kept by Nature for herself, nor made by man his own,
From home and company remote and every playful joy,
Served, tending a few sheep and goats, a ragged Norman Boy.
There's a whisper down the field where the year has shot her yield
And the ricks stand gray to the sun,
Singing:-'Over then, come over, for the bee has quit the clover
And your English summer's done.'
Time and time again,
I'm taken down memory lane,
Where things remain the same,
Where there's beauty even in pain.
Among the dwellers in the silent fields
The natural heart is touched, and public way
And crowded street resound with ballad strains,
Inspired by one whose very name bespeaks
Creation of visions,
Mistakes made life learn in them ,
Slowly but surely steps taken they are life long ......
From My Heart
A million stars up in the sky.
One shines brighter - I can't deny.
A love so precious, a love so true,
a love that comes from me to you.
True Self: Living Bipolar
It looks like you've been smiling for too long,
Can't control your own self,
People don't know who you really are,
Cause you are different when it comes to the outside world,
Good books are friendly things to own.
If you are busy they will wait.
They will not call you on the phone
Or wake you if the hour is late.
Edgar Albert Guest
You Can't Can Love
I don't know how the fishes feel, but I can't help thinking it odd,
That a gay young flapper of a female eel should fall in love with a cod.
Yet-that's exactly what she did and it only goes to prove,
That' what evr you do you can't put the lid on that crazy feeling Love.
Loving Without Identification
When you love your neighbour
Even if he has not the same skin color with you
That how you call true happiness in your life
This loving attitude gives you entire freedom
Cinderella in the street
In a ragged gown,
Sloven slippers on her feet,
Shames our tidy town;
They please me not-these solemn songs
That hint of sermons covered up.
'Tis true the world should heed its wrongs,
But in a poem let me sup,
Paul Laurence Dunbar
