our hero pastA
The forte is fallingB
The nation is leanC
Thirsty tears and sorrowD
Roll and drumE
From city to cityF
Every house feels the beatG

Where is the princeH
The Kingdom is sinkingB
Moses you said you areI
When we thumb changeJ
With thoughtK
That the promise land is closeL
But now our eyes are openedM
We have been scammedN

Where is the freedom of our penO
Where is the right of our tongueP
Alas It has been cagedQ
tongue can no longer speakR
Unless it sings praises of their wrongsS
Hand can no longer writeT
Unless it glorify their nameU
This is the nation we liveV

Today is independent dayW
Are we really independentX
Question for minds that still careY
At The kingdom still craving for walkZ
Eat from hand to mouthA2
Yesterday was betterB2
Today fair and next still unknownC2

Those in power feed fatD2
sons and daughtersE2
Live in abject and fearF2
we are blessed and cursedG2
Justice seekers are beheadH2
Their boys get justice and honourF2
Why won t peace wave the landI2
For how long will this impunity reignJ2

It cures no hunger norF2

Rejig the villa and the crewL2
Time is not our friendM2
The land is in need of a new orderF2
