As I walk and ruminate
Over life in the city state
Where birds crawl with wings
Fish hopped in water

A voice ran into my ear
So sweet and bitter
So lovely and sorrowful
It’s a song of sorrow from a tender voice

I look left and right
My eyes sight
A young and vulnerable
An innocent child

I walk like a wind
And kneel before him
Under the tree he sat
In search for hope and manna

Like sons of Isreal
He whispered to my ear
Who will see my tears
And cuddle me with hope

I am lonely and starved
I am naked and thirsty
I have no name and home
I have chosen a wrong world.
