Fall, rain,
Fall gently down,
Fall gently in glistening drops that shine.
Come down, rain,
Come paint the town,
Transform the sky with a brilliant sign.
Glistening drops,
Glistening drops that shine,
Washing the earth where the shadows grew.
Weave into color,
Line by line,
Show us the many, the bright, the new.
Show us the red,
Show us the gold,
Show us the silver that breaks the night.
Mebala-bala,
Stories untold,
Unveil a brilliant, variegated light.
Fall, rain,
Fall gently down,
Leave us a sky of a thousand hues.
Come down, rain,
Wear your bright crown,
And wash away all of our faded blues
