The sun slowly climbs down from the sky
It drops behind the peak of the mountain
And gently touches the surface of the sea
The amber and purplish sunset fascinates me
In a few minutes, darkness will cover the land
The sun will disappear and crickets will chirp
I stand on the slope overlooking the valley
It’s so peaceful and quiet out here at dusk,
But I can’t ignore the loneliness in my heart
The beauty of sunset temporarily eases my pain
Evenfall is my solace when I’m on this ridge
I wish I could follow the sunset across the globe
The appearance of sunset is like nothing else
I travelled westward to see this awesome sight
On this calm crepuscule my spirit is satisfied
Sunset
