Opportunist (from A Woman's Perspective) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADE FFAGFH AFGGIJ IGKLMN

I know that you don t love me the way you love herA
But I don t understand why you re still hereB
You re not an expert in hiding your true feelingsC
And you were never a good pretenderA
I can tell you re still in love with AmandaD
The guilt clearly shows on your faceE
-
You always treat her kindlier than meF
And you look at her in a way that you don t look at meF
She didn t want you when you wanted herA
But now she says she loves youG
And she wants to steal you from meF
She s nothing but an opportunistH
-
Why can t you love me as you love herA
She isn t any prettier or sexier than meF
You know that she doesn t deserve your love I doG
She couldn t perceive how much I love youG
I ve made up my mind to accept the situationI
And I ll remain faithful to you wherever life leads usJ
-
You don t understand the love of a womanI
Even if your love for me doesn t increase in futurityG
I intend to stay with you for as long as I canK
If she was in my shoes would she do the sameL
I ve done so many things for you out of loveM
But you still refuse to let that opportunist goN
