Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEA CFGHIGC AJKELG MNEOP CQRRSEGAT

Although the fire risenA
I stayed and had hopeB
That it shall rain and put out the fireC
I could have walked awayD
But emotions kept pulling meE
Although the fire has risenA
-
In the moments of fireC
I became more of a slaveF
Than a queen ruling a royal kingG
I became a door matH
I was walked over without any remorseI
Nor care if I was hurtingG
And the fuel added to the fireC
-
Burnt beyond recognitionA
I lost myself Self worthJ
I became more of a trained lap dogK
I bowed to everything you told meE
I became afraid to even raise my voiceL
As the fire kept burningG
-
Most of the time I screamedM
Hoping my voice will reach helpN
The world kept rejecting meE
Kept slamming before my faceO
Until I lived withP
-
Thee thy caused the fireC
Thy I trusted with all my lifeQ
Thy I loved with all my soulR
Thee thy killed my soulR
And left me wondering like a ghostS
Like a door without a keyE
The fire keeps burningG
Is death the ultimate solutionA
So I ask the worldT
