Daily cries...
Screamed loud and poured out.
With every muscle in the body there is,
And few good memories to cherish.

Many times...
On swollen and beat up knees,
With no sign of ever being,
And many occasions of never seen.

Your timing is perfect,
So they say.
My time is running out,
And never once did I say "yay"

In these birds I find hope.
So careless and free as they roam.
Painting the sky in unseen colours,
Or maybe a rainbow they paint sometimes.

A man's best friend keeps my faith,
Loving and caring for its young ones...
Protecting those capable of protecting themselves,
Because if more than anything,
Genuine love is a sign of Your existence.

I still keep on,
And pray as the sun shines...
Even though I get weary at times,
Trying to find a word that rhymes.
