Summer rain pouring down,
Like crystal drops on tarred grounds.
I could have sworn this was your crown,
Your clueless head always in the clouds.

This is not where I'm used to be,
But it's where my heart misses to bleed.
My scars you carry as though you don't have your own.
My imperfections you make fun of,that you could clone.

When the sun sets on this fairytale,
I hope we get to open a new page...
With your hand in mine,
And mine on your spine.

May we continue to sing louder than the birds,
For you and I are closer than the rest.
May we dance the nights away,
As we carry this love always.
