I was there last week
Very happy she looked
Ululations she made
Thankful she was as she gazed
Amazed by my physique
“My son”, she said
I’m very elated indeed
Please have a seat
I prepare for you a cup of tea
Slowly she walked
But happily, indeed
The few coins she had
A kilogram of sugar she bought
And a loaf as well
Happily, she came
Ordered that the big cock
The big cock indeed
May be slaughtered
It threw me in thought
How can I indeed
Extol such a soul
For nine months for sure
In her womb I lay
She caressed me in fact
In her hands I grew
She watched me grow
Many mistakes I made
I’m the same soul
The same soul she raised
But she can attentively listen
To my words with respect
It had never struck me as it did!
Never did she give up
Give up on me!
How can I indeed
Appreciate your efforts for sure!
As I live,
You must suffer not
Not in my presence
Must you ever lack
My earthly creator! My mentor!
Can I even thank you enough?
Good health is all I wish for you!
My hero! The hero I know!
I’m because you are!
My Heroine! My Paladin!
