Divinity isn’t carnality
The triune personality
Can never be mocked or mimicked
by their worshippers.
Masquerades in suits
Shepherds eat their sheep
With tactical gimmicks
and abracadabra.
In the war of masquerades
The ordained men are divided
Unity in disunity,
Self glorification
The logo of worship.
Baptised rumour sponsored
Published and socialised,
The faith frowns at the faithless
The enemy is within.
War of the faith is fruitless
There are physical and spiritual
Masquerades,
Armageddon the battle field.
Ishmaelites united in voice and deeds
Israelites united in faith,
But unity is mocking and calling
Why war of masquerades?
Darkness and light
can never be on the same page,
The masquerades of darkness
conflicts with the realism of light.
The Masquerades are physically united
But spiritually disunited,
All souls must chronicle their deeds
Their days are numbered,
Armageddon is smiling and weeping.
His muteness isn’t cowardice
Grace, hope and faith speak
Their seasons are seasonal
Fear the wrath not the mockery.
War Of Masquerades
Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke
Poet's note: This is a religious poem. It cautions all religious clergymen and women to be united in faith and in deeds. Christians are one in the body of Christ. Let's the preaching of the gospel be geared towards winning souls to Christ. War on the Christiandom is fruitless. Heaven is our last destination.
