That Charming Smile May Be Amarment For Death Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGHIJDK AALLMNAOO APAQQR STSTSU Q

On the surfaceA
You were a beacon of baconB
Brandishing that beam of beautyC
A subtle smile and a sober starD
-
BeneathE
A million hedgehog spikesF
Ballooning in porcupine thornsG
Of a love unrequitedH
A deal dismissedI
A test failedJ
A disease dampenerD
A public chastisingK
-
Surface stillnessA
Outward naughtinessA
Public paranoiaL
Cobwebbed our criteriaL
Of one sickM
How could happiness concealN
SadnessA
So with you we laughedO
When indeed at you we laughedO
-
Now you lie below this surfaceA
Walled in hiding your warmthP
How I failed to read your faceA
I let you down and got you downQ
Depressed and suppresed the frownQ
That smile hiding the burnR
-
So happily you took itS
Your lifeT
Sadly you severed itS
This lifeT
With a rope you rapturedS
Captured the essential breathU
-
I pray and brave to read it before it races another downQ
