Moles Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEF GHGHHA IAFJH

Burrowing beneath the soft surfaceA
They bore and bury and blow out soft soil so brownB
Miles and miles they wind and wound the wealth of foodC
minding not the grinding pain that soon swells from their moundsD
Rodents so ready to rid you of your radianceE
Moles molest our meal sourcesF
-
They burrow beneath our trustG
Camouflage their mission with loyaltyH
Seeking secrets to sell elsewhere for trustG
Sinking your stake by sealed sincerityH
Mission complete burrow deeper away your burial a certified certaintyH
Moles gnore at our faith in opennessA
-
Moles mark us outI
Painless and pricelessA
On faces or other body surfacesF
Might mark us out for murderJ
Though identity icons they beH
