Bad gone goodA
Sour turned sweet hoodA
Bitter turned joyfulB
And that's the Lord in controlC
Taking my worst and giveD
Me the best of loveE
How am I to thank himF
-
On my worst days he's LordG
On good days he's LordG
He's nothing lessH
But full of greatnessI
A pain on my head he rubs offJ
And my life he fills beautiful stuffK
How am I to thank himF
-
He says goodness andL
Mercy shall follow me endM
Even when ain't good to himF
And I don't sing a hymnF
Still his goodness are seenN
And I live big even when I sinO
How am I to thank himF
-
I'm a messH
And less of graceP
I'm a dirty creatureQ
But he lays me on green pastureQ
And wets my land when dryR
Rubs tears when I cryR
How am I to thank himF
-
On days when devil strikesS
He provides shield and boxT
He fills my heart with confidenceU
And does me good in influenceU
He's forever faithfulB
And mercy in him fullV
How am I to thank himF
