Journey Of Life Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDE FGHH IJKK LMNO PQRR AAST UVWXK YTR

This journey of life has been undoubtedly rowdyA
With the vision of our mission yet to be readyA
But we have no intention of stopping hereB
For we're sure our resilience will keep us thereC
Earnestly endeavoring to make it happenD
So we keep our eye on the priceE
-
Walking under the hot sun with our sonsF
Bear footed on the inevitable thornsG
Meandering through the obstacles of the dayH
For this journey of life must payH
-
This is a journey of life and deathI
So we never quit but try to get to its depthJ
Even without knowing where to landK
But optimistic about having an end to blandK
-
With empty stomachs we slept on our bedsL
With our heads raised to count the raftersM
Waiting to welcome the new dawnN
But aren't giving up because the vision must be attainedO
-
Comparing goals with achievements as we quietly sitP
Imagining the augmented barriers ready to be served to usQ
We are still hopeful even though we stumbleR
We will tell our tales of victory so we remain humbleR
-
This journey keeps serving us with uncertaintyA
Making the lucid road looks absurdityA
Deeper and deeper we sunk into our thoughtS
But we aren't going to stop but keep pushingT
-
As the Sun rises new hope is foundU
As it sets we only count our lossesV
We roll from one end to anotherW
Eschewing our mischiefX
Despite the arrows we standK
-
Harder Harder we pushY
For we hope to grow from nothing to something without perishingT
Keeping the soul in the body as we wait for the light in the tunnelR
