Secret Infatuation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDCDDEFGHHIJK

What if it's over and I have to cross the finish lineA
How long would it take you to know it's not a lieB
Would you ever imagine of being my lifelineA
And what if it started long ago but I was just shyB
Maybe fear got me blind and I couldn't apply my shooting waysC
Have you ever thought of me and you togetherD
Or maybe I was mistaken when I thought your smile reflected a friendship alwaysC
You know all those moments showed me we're meant to be togetherD
And the look in your eyes reminds me of the old daysC
The days I could seek love and put it down on paperD
The days the mirror could give me confidence to confess laterD
Seeing you gives me different heart rhythmsE
Guess that's how it feels when you're fallingF
Falling at the right place with soothing hymnsG
If you be my Caesar I'll give what belongs to youH
Anytime you call me I'll respond with I love youH
Here I am confused and caring too muchI
I know you know that I know you know we matchJ
How I wish it could be a two way wishK
