Unread Letters In Hands Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFAG AHIAJFKG LAAMCKG ANAOAFNN

It never gets old special unerasedA
The day when rain dropsB
Made our first glance worthyC
Boiling fresh blood in my vena cavaD
As an alarm of beliefE
So ignorant I never knewF
The letter from my heart will remain unreadA
As tears soak it in my handsG
-
From that momentA
Doors of the magical emotionH
Were open by your smileI
arguably the firstA
To teach me what the magic isJ
So ignorant you never knewF
My heart is writing a letterK
Soon to be blown by wind away from my handsG
-
Cracked my world wasL
As my eyes watch your feetA
On your way outA
What a sad joy Your cheeks still smilingM
Maybe your heart had a letter for meC
Soon to be burned with anger set on fireK
To disappear in your handsG
-
Now I celebrate a decadeA
Of our unfulfilled exchange of lettersN
I finally comprehendA
It was meant to be that wayO
Until now my heart has never scribbledA
A letter of golden ink as it did the with youF
Even though my three previous letters were torn by my addresseesN
But special is your unread letter in my handsN

Poet's note: I wrote this poem from experience and imagining how it feels like to reminisce beauty of how one felt the first time being in love. Upon meditating I came up with an imagery of a letter; past days in Malawi both young and old people used to write letters to their loved ones or when proposing love. In the poem, letter is standing for love or affection and unread letters in hands means unexpressed affection/love.
