For sure I can t lieA
The Alphabet of guilt written on my faceB
Tears and sweat helping me eat a humble pieA
On my knees I fulfill Psalms vsC
Just before you strike my soul and dieA
On this alter here I comeD
-
I kneel crawling near theeE
Like a wounded animalF
Cried in confession too long can t you seeE
Indeed I m a bizarreG
A loss in cost of production of a treeE
Sowing Apples reaping LemonsH
-
With smooth echoes of my voiceI
Trillion miles away hear my entreatyE
As my days are probability like a rolling diceJ
Of course I annoy youK
Yet none I m left with but a choiceI
To disinfect my decayL
-
So help me out to cleanseM
Impurities of my mind and bodyE
To calm the storm and pleaseN
Only you the all knowing EmperorO
Who takes my flaws and crimes at easeN
Even though I deserve not a snippet of mercyE
-
Teach me the art of disciplineP
Let my heart welcome it and learn itQ
Walk in day light and shine like crystallineR
Execute all trash stinking on meE
Give me fear to flee sin with flowing adrenalineP
Promote me as your decorated servantS
-
Unholy I ve acted against my conscienceT
All I see is fire awaitingU
Either I choose to be a wretch or it is pretenceT
Wishing you could cut the tumour inside meE
Sweep away dust of ineptitudeV
For this plea is honey on a rotten treeE

Poet's note: To all Biblical scholars, believers of Jehovah and all Christians you can bear with me how guilt strikes the moment you sin. Honey on a rotten tree is a poem talking about experience of a sinner during repenting time and how it boils in the mind. The poem uses imagery of honey and a rotten tree, in this context a rotten tree represents a sinner while honey represents sweet repenting words that come out of a sinner heart asking for redemption.
