Poet's note: The poem is dedicated to all people regardless of age, who have been rejected. "Cage of solitude" means a prison of loneliness, which is an imagery that is defining loneliness as a Cage, a Prison. The last stanza "Give me your keys, to open the gate, I could heal you, on that chance, Scold me not, it could be your fate
To show you what I’m made of." it is a word that mainly rings in a head of a rejected soul to the one who rejected them; saying they could be judging unfairly without knowing what they are made of.
