Tried knocking till my fingers hurt
Swallowing the pain,
On this block, hoping you could blurt
The truth of it all.
Stayed strong leaning on the wall
Waiting for you to come out,
Neither you care nor answer my call
Pretending to be deaf.
A human I am like you besides,
Yet a robot, you take me for
Wondering why that cage resides
On your outside, blocking me.
Give me your keys, to open the gate
I could heal you, on that chance
Scold me not, it could be your fate
To show you what I’m made of.

Poet's note: The poem is dedicated to all people regardless of age, who have been rejected. "Cage of solitude" means a prison of loneliness, which is an imagery that is defining loneliness as a Cage, a Prison. The last stanza "Give me your keys, to open the gate, I could heal you, on that chance, Scold me not, it could be your fate
To show you what I’m made of." it is a word that mainly rings in a head of a rejected soul to the one who rejected them; saying they could be judging unfairly without knowing what they are made of.
