Who Cares Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHIJ KLMNI OLPKG QRESTEU

Why when I cry no one hearsA
When I scream all stuff their earsB
When I talk none gives an earC
Then when I die no one will learnD
Because mine is a cheap black lieE
-
Yesterday I carried the loadF
A day before I endured the painG
I gathered the stone that built this houseH
With my bare feet I mixed your mortarI
Now I bleed from scaled and chapped feetJ
-
The road I walk I map with my bloodK
This blood that feeds the antsL
Whose pilgrimage is my only achievementM
The journey they make to the hole in the moundN
Where they bury my blood for the winterI
-
How much should I pay forO
The chicken ointment to sooth my bunionsL
How much more pain can I takeP
Before my tears turn to bloodK
Or do I just lie down and die in vainG
-
Then will you take me homeQ
To the valley of sorrows to swamps of infamyR
Where you will not hear me cryE
For when I bit my own tongueS
All I can do is open my mouth toT
Let the flies in for them to dieE
Embedded in my worthless gutU
