Rhyme Scheme: ABCBBDAEFGHIJKLMNO

The smoke that thundersA
A wonder of God s creationB
Alone and asunderC
It stands as the hope of a nationB
It rumbles it roars like a lionB
From two miles away you can hearD
The echoes of the Zambezi watersA
As they pummel the gorge belowE
You can see the cold steamF
Rise into the eye aboveG
As though to tell the worldH
Of the pain embeddedI
In the rocks that carry this loadJ
The tears that fallK
Every hour everydayL
Are the blessing they giveM
To a world that shunsN
To see the good in the badO
