Kiss Of True Bliss Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDEFFGHIJKLMMNNOP QQ RR

Images of middle ages and emperors rough and boldA
dwellings in mountain valleys centuries oldA
In the court yard of the castle there sat the poetB
rhyming for the landlord all praises know to suitC
His living grace depend on his applauseD
coins in silky parchments and its causeE
Honoring that curious nature to exploreF
happy that he knows no moreF
A bored and bold lady of state attendG
witty wrapped to passion decadentH
To mock the poets ambition as useless toilI
her charm and etiquette in disdainful smileJ
Attentions and all its trophies praiseK
critics and fretted faults from face to faceL
The prophet rich with spoils from the celestial sereneM
many flowers in dew born to blush unseenM
The lady and her maiden in mingled measureN
how to tenderize that secret dome of pleasureN
The banquet in full swing under full moon primeO
vain and conspiracies amid the boundless mainP
Ladies and nectars of amnesia in full amour of delusionQ
the wise man in sober wait giving the lords conclusionQ
-
The mortal eye in easy come blissR
denying magical natures eternal kissR
