It's Always Thursday Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDDEEFFGGHHIIJJ

Between Sundays and the week to comeA
it s Thursday wondering where the days have goneB
The flow of tick tocking the passing throughC
when the rushing of the important is to pursueC
Days just disappear to wondering grieveD
while nights to sleep are to short to believeD
Moon tides smile growing full of restless sleepE
when that exhaustion only ask for that deepE
The tragedy about time that just perishF
when we cannot get hold of the now to cherishF
Taking life by the day that forever lastG
so that we can celebrate it with a blastG
No more promises for tomorrow as hopeH
and yesterdays regret a habit interlopeH
Thursdays from Latin is Jovis related to JupiterI
called the remover of all obstacles for the betterI
Then as we know everything can happenJ
on Thursdays even when you don t know LatinJ
