This poem is inspiredA
by a family member enquirementA
Reading her biography on her Instagram pageB
The words grappling with the paradox of our existence jumps in my faceC
No really all of sudden it felt like I was caged and being slapped in the faceC
-
How do you explain the meaning of lifeD
To a young girl who who has seen both parents dieA
Not to mention that in this dimension the name of JESUS was probably never mentionedA
-
Gasp gasp help me LORDA
How do I share your wordA
-
My dear this big vessel I'd like to help you steerE
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting lifeD
-
For His existence explains for instance this dilemma you haveF
If it is true than me and you are here for a reasonG
And in this point that Jesus is God means it also not just for a seasonG
But eternally basking in His glory with no askingH
-
Oh Yes my dear this is what I am sayingH
On this topic there can be no playingH
That when your flesh perishesC
We can look forward to heavenly relishesC
You are a daughter of THE KingH
Death then has no stingH
Doesn't that have an amazing ringH
-
Let me explain to you clearly how this worksC
And this is not one of my quirksC
-
You are an imperfect beingH
And you have to come cleanI
In the presence of God's Holy NessC
There can be no corrosivenessC
-
God in His mercifullness made a planJ
made His son become a ManJ
So that He could pay the price on your behalfK
-
God being righteous has to punish sinfulnessC
So Jesus stepped in literallyL
In the Fathers eyes to destroy sinM
He was beaten bruised and crucifiedA
So In our place the Father could denyA
So His righteousness he could satisfyA
-
On the third day He roseC
To show death that this door he could not keep closedA
-
By accepting Jesus as Lord and saviorN
This free gift will take away impending dangerN
-
Nothing would mean more to meL
To see you my dear being set freeL
Think a littleO
Pray a lotA
God will show you what He's gotA
