What humility it must be
For in a Manger laid the Holy the King.
No earthly inn could we use for the win
To host the King of kings.

The ruler of the world,
Humbly HE served
By washing HIS creations feet.
Helping and healing
Instead of appealing
And forcing authority.

Now not only that
Here is yet another fact
That Jesus, THE SON and the express image of the Living God
Had to hang as if off guard

With no cloth on HIS loin
Just so HE could join
with no contribution or coin
From me or you to HIMSELF.

The KING bore the lashes
When we were meant for ashes
And went "down" to redeem the Key.

Took our sin upon HIMSELF
To satisfy HIS Just need
And all of a sudden, we did not need to plead,
The price was paid indeed.
Oh yes the very expensive price was paid indeed.
