Solitude Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABC DEFE GHIH IJKL MNOP EQRQ

Lousy the life has becomeA
or by me it is made wearisomeA
Wanton was it but onceB
had lots of funC
-
Nights seems to be longerD
I in solitude amidst murkyE
Count the passing starsF
heart beats to keep its the only keyE
-
Even on the dark curtain of skyG
cotton clusters floating gather upH
Shining stars hide they from my sightI
ever hope in vain to see the Father upH
-
In loneliness of nightI
not a passer by to accostJ
Nor stars in store to countK
this malign of nature my life it will costL
-
On the bed I keep turningM
praying for an early dawnN
Eyes opened wide for the golden beamO
with unrest soul like on bed of thornP
-
In silence of the dreadful night could hear onlyE
the cop on his roundQ
Clock keep the rhyme of my pumping heartR
the moon seldom when unveiled as a moundQ
