Rhyme Scheme: AABC DCEF GGEH IJKL EDMN OPQR

As I walk and ruminateA
Over life in the city stateA
Where birds crawl with wingsB
Fish hopped in waterC
-
A voice ran into my earD
So sweet and bitterC
So lovely and sorrowfulE
It s a song of sorrow from a tender voiceF
-
I look left and rightG
My eyes sightG
A young and vulnerableE
An innocent childH
-
I walk like a windI
And kneel before himJ
Under the tree he satK
In search for hope and mannaL
-
Like sons of IsrealE
He whispered to my earD
Who will see my tearsM
And cuddle me with hopeN
-
I am lonely and starvedO
I am naked and thirstyP
I have no name and homeQ
I have chosen a wrong worldR
