Seconds after secondsA
Minutes turns hoursB
Hours clock monthsC
Months birth yearsD
This day in historyE
Two nine five twentyE
Our heart filled hopeF
Our beacon of hopeF
-
Took the centre stageG
Aged and weak roll outH
Teeth and drumI
In jovial and jubilant moodJ
Waving to hunger and fearK
That days of abundance is hereL
As the crown prince of DuaraL
Took oath and pledgeM
-
AlasN
Our hope is dashedO
All frills and PopP
Is now a dream and wishQ
The King is for self and bloodR
Hope turns to gloomS
Night and day doomS
Aged and kid flagT
-
We thought it is closeU
But our eyes are openV
That we have thumbed the wrong pathW
That days of abundanceX
is like the Holy comingY
And next levelZ
Is the new anthemI
A song for cowards on the payrollA2
-
On the D day we thumbI
We got pregnant with hopeF
That the common seedB2
We sell at the price of the commonV
That our home will be save like the villaC2
That school will flood with chalk and handD2
That our road will be a place to rideE2
That our press will be a place of freedomI
-
All now DanglingY
Corner we sit and watchF2
With pen and paperL
The next level we are waitG2
But hope not for more thanH2
A stillbirthW
The Nation await youI2
Our dear fickle friendJ2
