| floats in the bathtub embrace | B |
| Whispering to her boyfriend that her | C |
| cycle has begun | D |
| Their evening bath a tender ritual on hold | E |
| She was shy | F |
| So she was busy hiding her stained pants | G |
| Along with her dull moods and grey attitude | H |

| Amidst the pillows | I |
| Another note lies silently | A |
| Love's intimate dance deferred once more | J |
| Her boyfriend read it and went grey | K |
| Shy and almost ashamed again | L |
| She was on the balcony outside | M |
| And by the time her boyfriend read the note | N |
| She was outside groaning of crumps | I |

| This morning her boyfriend | O |
| Was at the kitchen | D |
| A note nestled beside a recipe tells it's own tale | P |
| Again she couldn't make it for breakfast | Q |
| Neither could she make tea | A |
| With a dull mood and lost appetite | R |
| She was still catching up with her periods | I |
| And I hope her boyfriend is still gonna be there | S |
| For her to hug her and just understand | T |
| For this is a part of their shared life's rhythm | U |
| A part of their monthly life | V |
