The strings of my harp are struck inside | B |
With skilful hands of a mighty master | A |
That never get weary and never pause | C |
When the music falls on my ears | D |
The rhythmic notes float around | E |
Meanwhile I hear no other sound | E |
Each note is an echo of awful delight | F |
And my soul for a reason seems to merry | G |
The master attunes the strings of my heart time and again | H |
And I am filled with a strange wonder | A |
Now my soul no longer hears | I |
The sounds of sorrow and grief | J |
My soul is growing sweeter and sweeter | A |
And I hold all others to be of my commune | K |
Linked by the echoing celestial sound | E |
My soul flies on its divine wings to supra conscious state | L |
In the neighbourhood of God my eternal father | A |
