MY ETERNAL FATHER
The strings of my harp are struck inside
With skilful hands of a mighty master
That never get weary and never pause
When the music falls on my ears,
The rhythmic notes float around,
Meanwhile I hear no other sound.
Each note is an echo of awful delight
And my soul for a reason seems to merry
The master attunes the strings of my heart time and again
And I am filled with a strange wonder,
Now my soul no longer hears
The sounds of sorrow, and grief
My soul is growing sweeter and sweeter
And I hold all others to be of my commune
Linked by the echoing celestial sound
My soul flies on its divine wings to supra conscious state,
In the neighbourhood of God, my eternal father
My Eternal Father
