| Trees too tall to reach the top | B |
| Now shy to skip the rope | C |
| No patients to treat | D |
| Injecting them with the most perfect needle a thorn | E |
| No need to make propellers | F |

| I miss the very tiny me | G |
| I miss the childhood fun | H |
| I miss the little nurse in me | G |
| With knowledge of no drug | I |
| But proud to be a dedicated 'nurse' | F |

| Those childhood dreams | F |
| All now more than invalid | J |
| Now each one totally shattered | K |
| And almost everything long faded | J |
| I got to accept that am no longer a child | L |
