No Longer A Child Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEF GHGIF FJKJL

The hills now hard to climbA
Trees too tall to reach the topB
Now shy to skip the ropeC
No patients to treatD
Injecting them with the most perfect needle a thornE
No need to make propellersF
-
I miss the very tiny meG
I miss the childhood funH
I miss the little nurse in meG
With knowledge of no drugI
But proud to be a dedicated 'nurse'F
-
Those childhood dreamsF
All now more than invalidJ
Now each one totally shatteredK
And almost everything long fadedJ
I got to accept that am no longer a childL
