| But the words aren t coming to mind | B |
| A blank page is on the computer screen | C |
| The wireless keyboard is sitting idle | D |
| I guess I m just not in the mood to write | A |

| The room is crammed with furniture | E |
| A noisy child is playing in the passage | F |
| Annoying mosquitoes are biting me | G |
| And I can t concentrate in this heat | H |
| Something is blocking my thoughts | I |
| - | |
| The refrigerator is humming in my ear | J |
| A cool drink should help me to relax | K |
| I do better writing when I m depressed | L |
| But I can hardly work in this condition | M |
| My imagination seems to have disappeared | N |
| - | |
| Well this is what I ve written so far | O |
| Maybe I should delete it and start over | E |
| But given the circumstances this will do | P |
| Was I actually having writer s block | Q |
| I wrote this poem in just a few minutes | R |
