I’m trying to think of something to write,
But the words aren’t coming to mind
A blank page is on the computer screen
The wireless keyboard is sitting idle
I guess I’m just not in the mood to write
The room is crammed with furniture
A noisy child is playing in the passage
Annoying mosquitoes are biting me
And I can’t concentrate in this heat
Something is blocking my thoughts
The refrigerator is humming in my ear
A cool drink should help me to relax
I do better writing when I’m depressed,
But I can hardly work in this condition
My imagination seems to have disappeared
Well, this is what I’ve written so far
Maybe I should delete it and start over,
But given the circumstances, this will do
Was I actually having writer’s block?
I wrote this poem in just a few minutes
