The Crows Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDEFAGE AHAICJKL

Based on a true storyA
-
It s a breezy afternoon in New KingstonB
An unfledged crow falls from its nestC
It flaps its scantily feathered wingsD
But it s unable to flyE
The black birdling is very scaredF
It peeps repeatedlyA
And it quickly runs into the flower garden to hideG
Luckily no cats are prowling nearbyE
-
The mother crow becomes angryA
She jumps from one branch of the tree to anotherH
And she caws loudlyA
Then she flies down to the grownI
She can t put her baby back in the nestC
Mommy crow flies awayJ
She returns with a piece of biscuit in her beakK
And she feeds the baby crowL
