Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEFGHIJKH HLC MNOBPQHRS THL

Darling at one time you loved meA
So why don t you love me anymoreB
Creation doesn t change like loveC
-
The sun shines during the daytimeD
And the moon glows at nightE
Stars twinkle beyond the black voidF
Dark clouds drift across the skyG
The rain falls recurrentlyH
Rivers flow from the hilly terrainsI
Snow whitens the groundJ
Pretty flowers bloom in springK
And little songbirds sing sweetlyH
-
The world is turning but not for meH
Darling I unfeignedly miss youL
How I wish creation could renew our loveC
-
Waterfalls cascade down the rocksM
And wild animals roam the forestsN
The branches of the trees sway in the breezeO
Rippling waves roll to the shoreB
Painted cockleshells decorate the sandP
Happy people laugh and chatQ
Perky children run about and playH
The light of evening vanishesR
And lovers have blissful momentsS
-
I was intrigued by the wonders of creationT
But now they mean nothing to meH
Darling my life ended when I lost youL
