My friends think I’m all right
Everything seems to be fine
Though I can’t stand being alone,
I pretend it doesn’t bother me
But in my heart I feel so lonely
I’m so lonely without you
I’m lonely without your utterance
I’m lonely without your touch
I’m lonely without your company
I’m lonely without your kisses
And I’m lonely without your smile
Though I cry for you every night,
I don’t want anyone to know
I secretly endure the sadness
And hide the tears from my peers
But in my heart I feel so lonely
I’m so lonely without you
Next time you pass my house,
I’ll persuade you to stay awhile
How your absence hurts me
I try not to go insane over it,
But in my heart I feel so lonely
I’m so lonely without you
