I expect the fate drives me to the scene | D |
To set me free from the force of the knot | E |

I stand to trail the path to its abode | F |
But I need light to shine the hazy route | G |
O Faith stand my side in this episode | F |
You need to be to festoon my pursuit | G |

My legs ache in the journey to the place | H |
My voice fades in the calling of its name | I |
My eyes flood to see the hand of its grace | H |
I weary not the Light is what I aim | I |

All night I stand still in the frozen sway | J |
To win the mercy of the lenient God | K |
The Light to bear me to the Final Day | J |
I will meet its rays in the days that odd | K |

I am not lone in the search of the Light | B |
So are ones who know the might of its rays | L |
That we may all be blessed on the great Night | B |
To pray repent and reform our ways | L |
