The Night Of Light Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE FGFG HIHI JKJK BLBL

In the hope of an umpteen boon I sitA
Like a star still in the spell of the nightB
Shunning the dole of diurnal orbitC
Solo scouring mega rays of the LightB
-
I cry to the shadow of the unseenD
For the Light to flash the rust of my lotE
I expect the fate drives me to the sceneD
To set me free from the force of the knotE
-
I stand to trail the path to its abodeF
But I need light to shine the hazy routeG
O Faith stand my side in this episodeF
You need to be to festoon my pursuitG
-
My legs ache in the journey to the placeH
My voice fades in the calling of its nameI
My eyes flood to see the hand of its graceH
I weary not the Light is what I aimI
-
All night I stand still in the frozen swayJ
To win the mercy of the lenient GodK
The Light to bear me to the Final DayJ
I will meet its rays in the days that oddK
-
I am not lone in the search of the LightB
So are ones who know the might of its raysL
That we may all be blessed on the great NightB
To pray repent and reform our waysL
