In the hope of an umpteen boon I sit
Like a star still in the spell of the night
Shunning the dole of diurnal orbit
Solo scouring mega rays of the Light

I cry to the shadow of the unseen
For the Light to flash the rust of my lot
I expect the fate drives me to the scene
To set me free from the force of the knot

I stand to trail the path to its abode
But I need light to shine the hazy route
O Faith, stand my side in this episode
You need to be, to festoon my pursuit

My legs ache in the journey to the place
My voice fades in the calling of its name
My eyes flood to see the hand of its grace
I weary not, the Light is what I aim

All night I stand still in the frozen sway
To win the mercy of the lenient God:
The Light, to bear me to the Final Day
I will meet its rays in the days that odd

I am not lone in the search of the Light
So are ones who know the might of its rays
That we may all be blessed on the great Night
To pray, repent, and reform our ways
