Rhyme Scheme: AA BB CC DD EE FF GG HH II JJ KK

When the radiant of grace appears aboveA
The world rejoices and grasps its loveA
-
As the tiny arc proclaims the newsB
The warmth of its taste is hard to loseB
-
You come again O the Month of changeC
Your shade is known and not too strangeC
-
And thy gift is vast in the ruin of crimeD
Nay do shed thy love in the nick of timeD
-
The juicy prize has come with soreE
Its thorn is hot without being in warE
-
For the world is full and swamps in bugF
But unto Him we turn to rain its drugF
-
The peace is mute all around the globeG
The world is jailed by the thin microbeG
-
Our flaws are great on the clout of rainH
And the phlegm of air it is sure to drainH
-
O the wiper of vice thou art come in pieceI
When the world is down to lay and ceaseI
-
Thou art known for thy aid to right the wrongJ
So help revert repose before it is longJ
-
We call for thy hand to shine the darkK
And make the turn the peace to markK
