The Journey Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EBBF GHBB IIJJ KLMM NOPQ

I'm walking this roadA
My forefathers walked beforeB
This road that carries invisible footprintsC
No rain can ever eraseD
-
The same air I'm breathingE
Has been breathed beforeB
These old trees grown by the sun have been seen beforeB
I'm sureF
-
I'm dazzled to see how many we areG
And how many of us carry these scarsH
These weapons of warB
Like we're ready for moreB
-
How the sun never misses to setI
Leaving my yesterday to forgetI
How the rain falls to the groundJ
And the birds never miss its soundJ
-
How the words cut through like a propellerK
And the heart breaks over a cheeky fellaL
How the pain sticks like a magnetM
And a man dies over a walletM
-
Today I made an oathN
With a big lump in my throatO
That I will walk this earthP
If the peace of it helps me do the mathQ
