I'm walking this roadA
My forefathers walked beforeB
This road that carries invisible footprintsC
No rain can ever eraseD

The same air I'm breathingE
Has been breathed beforeB
These old trees grown by the sun have been seen beforeB
I'm sureF

I'm dazzled to see how many we areG
And how many of us carry these scarsH
These weapons of warB
Like we're ready for moreB
-
How the sun never misses to setI
Leaving my yesterday to forgetI
How the rain falls to the groundJ
And the birds never miss its soundJ
-
How the words cut through like a propellerK
And the heart breaks over a cheeky fellaL
How the pain sticks like a magnetM
And a man dies over a walletM
-
Today I made an oathN
With a big lump in my throatO
That I will walk this earthP
If the peace of it helps me do the mathQ
