Our leaders muteP
Who is steaming the pot of warQ
The aroma is deadly and destructiveR

Biafran war a history noteS
Igbos victimized and traumatizedT
Religious war a deadly callU
Unity the aroma of peaceV
and tranquilityF

Israelites and IshmaelitesV
are brothersV
Under the lordship of AbrahamW
But the evil one sowed the seedX
of discord and acrimonyF

Poet's note: This is a religious poem. It preaches peace and unity in Nigeria. Nigeria at as when this poem was written was be clouded with fear among her citizens. The high rate of terrorism is alarming and degrading. Many are not longer safe in their homes, especially the Christians. Peaceful coexistence is the motor of progressive society.
