Sheep eat their shepherdsA
A shepherd monstrously murderedB
And brutally burntC
A great loss to Jalingo dioceseD
-
Prior to his deathE
He was a priest like MelchizedekF
He shepherds the flockF
Under the scorching sunG
And in the mocking rainH
-
Back from a peace talkF
Route to Amadu parishI
A calculated ambush launchedJ
Against a soulK
Crying guns saluted his soulK
-
The news of his demiseL
Spread like a wildfireM
Many hearts piercedN
and woundedO
-
Darkness over shadowsP
the dioceseD
Skirts and trousers in tearsQ
What has he doneG
-
The Kwararafa KingdomR
and Jalingo dioceseD
Weep for a departed soulK
At mile six Jalingo CathedralS
-
The cadaver committedO
To the mother earthT
Grave yards frown at the casketU
-
The heavenly hosts have declaredV
War to the kingdom of the culpritsW
Though tagged 'unidentified gunmen '-
-
The doer and the doweeX
Must chronicle their deedsY
They that kill by a swordZ
Must die by a swordZ
