    In the zunsheen of our zummers
    Wi' the hay time now a-come,
    How busy wer we out a-vield
    Wi' vew a-left at hwome,

    That summer there was no honey.
    The queens led their swarms away,
    the strawberry bed dried up in a day,
    the berrypickers went home early.

    Do not decree faith on this race,
    stars, ships and smoke are enough;
    it is concerned with things, determines
    stars and mathematical infinity,

    The girt woak tree that's in the dell !
    There's noo tree I do love so well;
    Vor times an' times when I wer young
    I there've a-climb'd, an' there've a-zwung,
  • 5.
    More beatiful than the remarkable moon and her noble light,
    More beautiful than the stars, the famous medals of the night,
    More beautiful than the fiery entrance a comet makes,
    And called to a part far more splendid than any other planet's
  • 6.

    Be silent with me, as all bells are silent!
