Rhyme Scheme: A BCBCCDEFEGHEHG

O Lady Moon elect of all the spheresB
To be the guardian of the ocean tidesC
I charge thee say by all thy hopes and fearsB
And by thy face the oracle of bridesC
Why evermore Remorse with thee abidesC
Is life a bane to thee and fraught with tearsD
That thus forlorn and sad thou dost conferE
With ghosts and shades Perchance thou dost aspireF
To bridal honours and thy Phoebus sireE
Forbids the banns whoe'er thy suitor beG
Is this thy grievance O thou chief of nunsH
Or dost thou weep to know that JupiterE
Hath many moons his daughters and his sonsH
And Earth thy mother only one in theeG
