Cloudy skies and starless nightA
Gloom shrouds all the world aroundB
Thousands dead or dying nowC
Millions afflicted even soD
The pandemic rages onE
-
Christmas at Orchard road s brightA
Locals and tourists are foundB
Walking around with raised browC
Families and friends in towD
Ogle at the lights in townF
-
Festive mood s in the air rightA
Midst the crowds and traffic soundB
As only they would know howC
Moving to and fro so slowD
Trying to not feel so downF
-
Christmas lights so very brightA
Come make our lives more profoundB
May God bless us and allowC
A pandemic cooling blowD
Pray squash the virus burdenG
With the power of Your LightA
