History bears witness to atrocities	A
Nations on nations have wrought	B
Mankind s never satisfied for less	C
A perennial immoral pandemic it is	D
Immense suffering it has brought	B
Uproot world s reeling economies	A
Recurring diseases and crises	A
Besides the invasion being fought	B
Even superpowers are speechless	E
Twin evils of wars and diseases	F
Wreck the fragile peace we ve got	G
Mankind s not learnt past lessons	H
Genghis Hitler and Ozymandias	H
All powerful once reduced to dust	I
Not lessons enough for all of us	H
Can we erase forms and systems	H
Keeping our own quite intact	J
Wars entail loss of innocent lives	H
Ruin hard built infrastructures	H
Makes the invader a pariah to rut	K
No virtue or trust one had once	H
Doing no one any good hence	H
For more power fame or what	K
There s no justification or justice	H
All religions clearly preach peace	H
It s never late to make a turnabout	L
Learnt in all our formative years	H
All through our schooling lives	H
To care to share to have a heart	M
Reap what you sow the Bible says	H
The law of Karma too so mentions	H
It s now or never to make a start	M
Let s stop more harm and deaths	H
Be among the respected leaders	H
Be a world hero and play your part	M
Stop any more wars and invasions	H
Go down in History not as a curse	H
But a blessing in disguise or what	K
Let s all forever embrace peace	H
A good life is never ever a breeze	H
To live and let live is always an art	M
A science too with some prejudice	H
In faith hope and God s blessings	H
