| Exhausted by their mass kindness | B |
| Seen them sigh and surrender | H |
| For they too have caught the rhythm | I |

| Seen him pile his pick Axe and seen him too among the bodies | B |

| I have seen turbulence so violent | J |
| Whole villages wiped while I waited | K |
| Coughs and fevers long thought | L |
| Long thought easily managed | M |
| But now vast they defy dosage | N |
| My colleagues died in the diagnosis room | O |

| Brown bodies and every mixture in between bodies | B |
| All ravaged by the ruthless reaper without rating reason or recourse | B |

| Shaky and shifting sands | B |
| Of politics and parties | B |
| Race and class | B |
| Privilege and pariah | R |
| I have seen rivers raze down Kings | B |
| And made humus of their servants | B |
