Leaves fall off the branchesA
Foliage fine for fresh faunaB
Branches so brittle breakC
The weight of silence serenadesA
The stiffness and staleness of theB
Sombre statuesque stateD

Lonely the graveyardE
Lonesome the deadF
Lethal and liberal the agentG

Morning takes ages to yawnH
Night seems satisfied life to pawnH
But hesitation is not cessationI
-
They mourn in murmursA
Death does them in numbersA
But in April flowers fill with blossomsA
